  3. Google claims a breakthrough with Gemini 4 Argon, but there are no figures to verify it.

In short

Google claims that the new model competes with leading systems and handles complex tasks better. I examine exactly what the company is promising and why, without test results, these claims say little about its actual quality.

Google says that Gemini 4 Argon is capable of competing with leading AI models on complex tasks. But for those choosing a tool, the main question remains open: the available description contains not a single figure that could be used to verify this claim.

According to Google, Argon delivers strong results in programming, cybersecurity, science, finance, and law. The company also says that the model is less likely to evade answers, repeat itself, or use tired phrasing.

The list of areas alone proves little. A benchmark result depends on the task set and evaluation method. Without these details, the comparison with GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1, and Claude Opus 5.5 remains a claim by Google, not a basis for choosing Argon.

The limitation is simple: the provided material contains no test results, comparison methodology, or independent verification. Therefore, for now, it is possible to judge what Google promises to improve, but not how well Argon actually handles this in practice.

When choosing AI for a work task, do you trust benchmarks more, or do you test the model on your own examples?
